Our 60th Anniversary!

Telling The Stories Of Ocean County For 60 Years!

On Sunday, June 6, 2010 Ocean County Historical Society marked our 60th anniversary with a celebration at the Quality Inn of Toms River. More than 70 people enjoyed an afternoon of good food, good friends and wonderful memories of the Society's first sixty years.

Our guest of honor was Mrs. Pauline S. Miller, Ocean County's official Historian. Mrs. Miller was instrumental in helping the Society to acquire the Pierson-Sculthorp house as our Museum, and also served as our first Museum Director. Through the years she has also served as a Society trustee, and as our president. Her service was acknowledged with the presentation of The Golden Key Award.

Enjoy a look at the celebration through the photos below, as the Society continues the mission we began 60 years ago: Telling The Stories Of Ocean County.
