Model Train Show 09
Fun For Kids Of All Ages!
On Saturday and Sunday, December 26 and 27, 2009 OCHS presented our annual Model Railroad Show. More than 500 people of all ages came to the Birdsall Room at the Museum to enjoy this exciting event. Members of the Ocean County Society of Model Railroaders brought their train lay-outs and equipment, manned the displays, and answered all questions from our guests.
As visitors finished viewing the model railroads, most decided to enjoy our Joys and Toys of Christmas exhibit, and then tour the Pierson-Sculthorp House. Room monitors were on duty throughout the house to direct guests and answer questions. As peple left the museum, most smiled and said, "See you next year!"
