High School Community Service
The community service program for high school students provides individuals in grades nine through twelve the opportunity to assist the Ocean County Historical Society’s volunteers in a variety of tasks related to the successful operation of its museum.

Undergraduate Internships
The undergraduate internship program is available to motivated and energetic undergraduate students who enjoy working with people and are interested in learning more about the many facets of the museum environment. The intern will gain diverse experience working with volunteers on activities typical to a small historic house museum and research center.

Graduate Internships
Internship opportunities are offered to graduate students who are pursuing a master’s degree or advanced certification in a field of study related to the museum profession. Through work on a focused project, the student will gain valuable experience applying his/her academic skills within the environment of a fully operational small historic house museum and research center.
