The Pauline S. Miller Exhibit Room is the place where we house exhibits that will be in place for an extended period of time. You’ll want to check this place often to find out what’s happening. There will always be things to see, and much to read in this room!
Hook, Line, and Sinker: History of Fishing In Ocean County Up To 1950
Our newest exhibit, Hook, Line and Sinker, History of Fishing In Ocean County UpTo 1950, will open to the public on Tuesday, November 4, 2014. The exhibit will be an interesting look at the tools, equipment, and history of one of Ocean County’s most important industries and recreation activities. This is an exhibit you won’t want to miss if you love Ocean County’s history!
The exhibit will be in place through early Spring 2015.
The exhibit will be open Tuesday through Friday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, free to the public. The Victorian museum tours are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:00 to 3:00 pm. Donation $3.00.

Chapeaux: A Century of Hats
Our textile display room is now featuring Chapeaux: A Century of Hats. This exhibit will show you many of the hats that were popular from the late nineteenth century through the twentieth century. You’ll find these beautiful hats in our Textile Exhibit Room and throughout the Museum.
